Field Laborer /

Glazier Assistant Industry:

Architectural Glass and Metal Location:

On Job Site (Dayton / Cincinnati Area)

Physical Demand:

High (lifting heavy panels, standing, working at heights)

Key Responsibilities Material Handling:

Load, unload, and move glass panels, and metal framing using suction cups or lifts.

Site Preparation:

Remove old or broken glass, clean frames, and clear work areas.

Assisting Journeymen:

Hold, position, and secure glass in sashes, storefronts, or curtain walls while experienced Glaziers fasten them.

Tool & Site Maintenance:

Organize tools, clean up debris, and maintain a safe working environment.

Safety Compliance:

Follow all Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules, wear personal protective equipment (PPE), and use fall protection when working at heights.

Qualifications & Requirements Physical Strength:

Ability to lift heavy objects (frequently 50+ lbs), stand for long periods, and maintain balance on ladders or scaffolding. Comfort with

Heights:

Willingness to work on elevated platforms, on lifts, or tall buildings.

Basic Skills:

Ability to read a tape measure, use basic hand tools, and follow direct instructions.

Reliability:

Valid driver's license, reliable transportation to different job sites (mostly in Dayton and Cincinnati area), and a dependable work ethic.

Tools:

Basic tools responsibility of employee and company will provide specific required tools.

Required:

Pass background check and drug test.

Pay:

$20.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
