We're the crew that prevents the next big blaze. As a Forestry Technician at Bear Claw, you'll run heavy equipment, drop trees with precision, and keep Central Texas ranches and communities safe. This isn't punching a clock in some warehouse. This is real work, outdoors, in the Hill Country. What you'll do…? Here's the fun part: Operate big toys: skid steers, mastication heads, excavators, tracked chippers, log grapples.

Chainsaw mastery:

drop, limb, and buck trees with precision. Cedar, mesquite, oak trimming — you handle it all.

Slash management:

chip it, haul it, burn it, scatter it.

Erosion control:

contour felling, install erosion barriers.

Equipment care:

daily inspections + field repairs. Work across the best of Central Texas (Travis, Hays, Blanco, Burnet counties, and beyond).

Sawyer Skills:

You know your way around a chainsaw.

Heavy Equipment Experience:
