Responsible for directing/controlling traffic and work trucks at excavation site Use hand signals and signs to stop and direct traffic Loading and unloading materials and equipment Digging trenches, compacting earth, and backfilling holes Perform general laborer work to include jobsite clean-up and moving of materials by hand Assisting skilled trades people in their duties Must be willing to perform all labor tasks required by the
Foreman Skills and Qualifications:
Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs, such as: stand, bend, stoop, lift, walking for long periods of time. Sound knowledge of state traffic regulations and hand signals Must be able to use different tools such as: picks, shovels, rakes etc. Must ensure that automobiles do not interfere with, or pose a danger to workers Maybe required to lift, carry or push/pull supplies, materials equipment and/or items weighing up to 50 pounds.
