Duties & Responsibilities:
Stage and install various underground detention materials Perform a variety of physical labor activities Work in all types of adverse weather and confined areas Maintain a safe and clean job site Promotes a positive work environment Work as a team to safely achieve profitable job completion Operate various hand tools and power tools Overnight travel 90% including work over the weekends.
TRAVEL AND OUT OF TOWN WORK IS PART OF THE JOB.
You WILL be away for extended periods of time!
Skills & Experience:
Strong work ethic Must have physical stamina sufficient to perform construction type work such as: lifting and carrying approximately 50 pounds, bending, stooping, climbing in and around construction equipment, and in and out of ditches for 8-12 hour shifts Valid Driver's License Satisfactory criminal background check for job access High School diploma or equivalent Strong problem solving and comprehension skills Knowledge of the construction, landscaping or maintenance fields (A plus) Experience operating construction equipment i.e. skid steer or excavator (A plus)
Additional Information:
Work Environment/Conditions In the performance of the job duties, this position requires work in a variety of environments including construction sites and natural resource areas. This position will primarily work outside in all types of weather conditions and environments including but not limited to possible high, precarious places and is exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, and vibration.
