Expect:
Collaborate with experienced foresters on a variety of forestry and land management tasks, including inventory work, timber sale layout, streamside buffer delineation, harvesting inspections, GIS/GPS applications, and tract inspections. Currently pursuing a degree in Forestry, Natural Resources, or a related field. Enthusiastic about a future in consulting forestry. Previous experience in forest inventory is a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; familiarity with GIS/GPS software and tools is beneficial. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members, contractors, and managers. Must possess a valid driver's license and be comfortable working in various outdoor environments. Perks of theInternship:
