LMD Property Management Specialist Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Property Management Specialist to support comprehensive property accountability and logistics operations for UAS programs. This role is ideal for a responsive self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple priorities while ensuring full compliance with Defense property and supply chain regulations. Key Responsibilities Asset Lifecycle Management — Manage receipt, identification, tracking, transfer, and disposal of government property in accordance with FAR Part 45 and DoDI 5000.64. Accountable Systems Management — Maintain accurate records in ELMS, GCSS-Army, Maximo, or other APSRs. Audit Readiness — Conduct inventories, reconcile discrepancies, and serve as the primary audit POC, including FIAR compliance activities. Documentation & Reporting — Prepare and maintain FLIPLs, DD Form 1149s, DD Form 250s, DD Form 1348s, and other required documentation. Strategic Planning — Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize equipment readiness, transportation, and warehousing. Cross-Functional Coordination — Collaborate with government property administrators, program managers, and field sites to support equipment fielding, redistribution, and reset operations. Process Improvement — Analyze logistics workflows, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance. Minimum Qualifications & Core Competencies Minimum 8 years of specialized logistics and property accountability experience. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining, reconciling, and reporting property records. Proficiency with APSRs (ELMS, GCSS-Army, Maximo) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Demonstrated problem-solving skills and adaptability in dynamic operational environments. Effective interpersonal skills for working with diverse government, military, and contractor teams. Knowledge of DoDI 5000.64, FAR 52.245-1, and standard military logistics regulations. Physical & Work Environment Requirements Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and move equipment during inventories, inspections, and property transfers. Position is 100% onsite at Redstone Arsenal. Preferred Qualifications 10 years of specialized logistics and property accountability experience. Experience supporting a U.S. Army Product Office. Education & Eligibility Requirements U.S. citizenship required; must possess and maintain a Secret security clearance. Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field preferred (additional years of directly related experience may be substituted for the degree requirement).
