We have opened a new Technical Center in Southern California (Murrieta) to supply and service the North American suspension market. Nitron is soon to launch our new off-road/ truck product line, and we are now seeking to appoint a Senior Suspension Technician (shock absorbers) to join our growing team here in the US. Some previous shock experience will be required for this position, however Nitron specific full product training will be given, for both cars and motorcycles. Progression within the company will be possible.

Murrieta, CA SUMMARY This position of Senior Suspension Technician covers the complete assembly and testing of new shock absorbers for cars and motorcycles, development of new suspension designs and valving, servicing and rebuilding of shocks and fork cartridges.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Making new shock and fork cartridge assemblies from complex parts with care and attention to detail. Developing valving to suit various car and motorcycle applications. Driving to customer facilities and race tracks (mainly in CA) for development and testing as required. Testing shocks and suspension / motorcycle forks on test dynos. Using machinery occasionally will be required (lathe, drill, grinder, sanding machines etc.) Keeping the workshop very clean and tidy at all times. Record keeping using MS Office and specific computer systems. Clear communication with other team members. Will be involved with all other aspects of the business from time to time (for example stores and parts, goods-in, packing & dispatch, shipping etc.) Will occasionally be required to speak to customers, suppliers by phone and in person as and when required. Share various company duties as required by the company.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Previous working knowledge of shock absorbers will be required, as well as a mechanical aptitude. Some computer experience (MS Office particularly) is essential. Must have a valid drivers' license and currently possess (or is able to pass a DOT physical to be able to obtain) a DOT Physical Card.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma is an absolute requirement. Other technical training, or certifications are a real benefit.
