The ITAD/tech Associate is a great entry-level position with plenty of room for growth! We are always looking for individuals who are not afraid of challenging themselves. Responsibilities:
Manage the end-to-end disposition process for IT equipment, including data sanitization, decommissioning, and recycling in accordance with company policies and environmental regulations Serialize equipment — scan and record serial numbers for computers, servers, laptops, and hard drives, and describe electronic material in Google Sheets or other applications Disassemble PCs, laptops, and servers down to their parts and components — hard drives, memory, CPUs, cards, and boards Sort serialized and disassembled material into the correct categories and bins Work primarily with hand tools (screwdrivers) — training provided, no prior experience required Maintain detailed records of all transactions related to asset disposition, ensuring compliance with data security standards and audit requirements Conduct root cause analysis on disposition issues to identify process inefficiencies and implement continuous improvement initiatives Must be able to sit/stand for an extended period of time Palletize and shrink wrap materials Keep warehouse clean and organized Help the ITAD manager when needed and assist where asked Physical capability for materials handling tasks including heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) Must have reliable transportation and come to work every day Accept responsibility, be reliable, and have a great attitude!
Candidates will be expected to:
Work quickly and heads-down, staying productive and focused throughout the shift Be comfortable with repetitive, hands-on teardown work and consistent daily volume Be trainable — prior experience disassembling servers, PCs, or hard drives is a plus, but we will train the right person Be accurate and detail-oriented when recording serial numbers and sorting components Manage time and work as a team member Join us as an IT Asset Disposition / Tech Associate to be part of a forward-thinking team dedicated to sustainable asset management.
