Job Description
Elevator Technician West Plains LLC is a part of BioUrja Group, and we are an agricultural commodity trading business specializing in warehouse operation, risk management, and transportation with a focus on creating value for the company's producers and consumers. Our customers depend on us to provide market insight, risk management, and logistics support. We are federally licensed and bonded warehousemen that trade whole grains, feed ingredients, freight, and other commodities within North America. We are headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska and have ten locations spread across three states. The company controls nearly 20 million bushels of elevator space though ownership or lease agreements. We are looking for an Elevator Technician based out of our Wiggins, CO facility. This position performs necessary general labor functions onsite, including but not limited to, support of grain activities, backfilling, bulking, and/or other duties as assigned. Job Responsibilities Provides general assistance to facility operations Performs cleaning duties such as sweeping and washing surfaces. Other work-related duties as assigned by supervisor/manager. Reliable and regular attendance is expected. Follow applicable safety rules, regulations, guidelines, policies, and site-specific safety plans when performing cleanup activities and donning protective gear. Operate routinely used tools and equipment Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment Operate load and unload equipment from vehicles, trailers and trains Job Requirements Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2 years of experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Must be able to interpret and follow written and oral instructions and assignments Grain industry experience, equipment operation and maintenance experience a plus
