Process Operator Steris - 3.1 Westport, CT Job Details Full-time 18 hours ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Position Summary Responsible for ensuring the efficient and high-quality processing of customer products through the effective use of STERIS equipment, resources, and established quality standards. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service by meeting turnaround commitments, maintaining compliance with STERIS procedures, and fostering long-term customer relationships through consistent performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction. Duties To receive all incoming product by unloading delivery truck, inspect product, reconciling Paperwork, inputting into ODMS. To prepare all product for treatment in accordance with the routine Instructions or Management's Directions by loading onto carriers, preparing treatment documentation for each load and entering data onto planning screen. To prepare release data by retrieving dosimeters and assembling Process Lot Records for Dosimetry Release. To prepare all product for shipping by unloading carriers and staging in the released product storage Duties - cont'd To perform tasks according to Good Manufacturing Practice and STERIS standards to add value, remove errors and reduce turnaround time by working safely and efficiently. To ship product by loading truck and ensuring that required paperwork is present with appropriate approvals. To ensure optimum utilization and availability of facility by responding in a timely manner to breakdowns. To undertake other duties, tasks and responsibilities as may be assigned by management from time to time. Call out duties will be required and this could be a requirement up to once a month Education Degree High School Diploma or GED Required Experience 2+ years working in manufacturing or warehouse environment would be preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment with strict deadlines Basic Mathematical skills Ability to complete high quality documentation. Ability to work with other departments to support, analyse and solve technical/customer problems.
