Titan has an excellent opportunity for a Utilityman at our Edgewater, FL Terminal. The function of this position is to successfully perform the day-to-day terminal operations, while maintaining Safety and Customer Focus. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with their hands outdoors in a teamwork-based environment. Responsibilities
  • Offload rail cars in a manner to minimize spillage, dust, and contamination.
  • Performs all work in a manner to maximize production amounts and quality.
  • Operates small equipment such as bobcats, forklifts, loaders, and Trackmobile.
  • Operates conveyors and stackers.
  • Makes general repairs to equipment, including conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, blowers, etc. with limited supervision.
  • Diagnoses cause of equipment malfunction to determine the root cause of the problem.
  • Maintains grounds and property to include mowing, landscaping, housekeeping, painting etc.
  • Maintains safe and clean work area.
  • Operates hand-held radio according to company policy and FCC regulations.
  • Communicates verbally with all plant personnel.
  • May be scheduled to work nights and weekends.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required Skills:
  • Must possess excellent communication skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Familiar with basic hand and power tools.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work outdoors with exposure to extreme heat and cold, constant standing and walking, climbing, working from heights and lifting.
Preferred Skills:
  • Front-end loader experience
