Job Summary:
Coordinates the efforts of the carpet tile packout line; which includes but is not limited to: repairing carpet, verifying styles, coding and counting off goods.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Lift full stacks of tiles off the line at one location and transport them to the feed table. Oversee line operations to insure there are no mislabeled cartons/pallets. Oversee style changeovers and verify the line is purged prior to beginning the next style. Use
CAMS AS400
system for various tasks such as inputting waste, verifying styles, and monitoring the press schedule. Accurately count and code all defective tiles. Troubleshoot/correct issues with the following: Stackers Conveyor lines Tamper Top & bottom boxer Robot stacker
Pallet Indexer Experience/Education Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent is preferred. Knowledge of
CAMS AS400
Must pass Munsell Color Test Good communication and interpersonal skills are required. Microsoft Office and Excel knowledge is preferred. Previous experience in similar position is preferred. Must be able to work without direct supervision.
Other Requirements:
Able to sit or stand for long periods. Able to lift and carry objects up to 80 lbs. Repetitive motions on a computer and pack-out line controls. Must be able to work overtime when needed. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. All accidents must be reported immediately.
