Inspects and preps parts for conformance. Tasks This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time. Must be able to climb ladders and platforms. Must inspect parts for potential defects, blemishes, etc. Make a clear and concise decision on what needs attention. Fix the areas that need attention by scrapping, sanding, etc. Use air, electric, and hand tools to apply and remove hardware from parts and assemblies. Seal and wipe required areas. Plug required areas. Prepare parts for top-coat painting. Re-inspect parts to ensure they are complete prior to releasing them to the paint operation. Must be able to read process sheets, blueprints, or other specifications to determine paint criteria. Experience and Education High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
