Job Description
International Sound Corporation is currently seeking a local Broadcast Technical Director for the production and recording of a live television broadcast show for a new Quarter Horse Racetrack located in Ashland, Kentucky. The candidate should have the ability to operate a Black Magic ATEM Video Production Switcher. Prior experience is required for this position and will include giving direction to video and camera operators. The candidate must be available to work all 8 live racing performances and the training day as listed below and have reliable transportation. This is a part-time and seasonal position with a work schedule as follows: Training Day Tuesday 8/18. 10:00 AM until approximately 5:00 PM. Opening Day Wednesday 8/19, Thursday 8/20, and Friday 8/21. Wednesday 8/26, Thursday 8/27, and Friday 8/28. Saturday 9/5 and closing day Sunday 9/6. Crew call would be 10:00 AM each live racing day. The work shift is expected to end by 6:00 PM each racing day. The candidate must pass a background check and obtain an occupational license with the Kentucky Racing Commission at the racetrack after they are hired. The rate of pay for this position is $400.00 per racing day. For non-local candidates traveling from other areas of the state, hotel accommodations two days each week will be included. Additionally, mileage reimbursement of @ .76 per mile, shall be included for non-local candidates using their personal vehicle for transportation to and from the track.
