Objective The responsibility of the Greenhouse Technician is to execute all tasks delegated by the Crew Leads or the growing facility management in a timely and accurate manner. This includes demonstrating and executing the proper techniques of pinching, spacing and watering methods across all functional areas as well as supporting the movement of inventory and the shipping process. Communication with Crew Leaders and other growing facility management is required to correctly receive and complete the daily task lists on a daily basis.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or GED required. Associates degree in horticulture, floriculture or other related disipline as well as prior experience in the horticultural industry or work in a growing facility preferred. Previous experience working with annuals, herbs, veggies and perennials preferred but not required. Ability to effectively communicate in English.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in an active growing facility environment. This job may be either indoors or outdoors or both.
