We are seeking to hire an experienced Certified Clinical Medical Assistant to support our Internal Medicine Department located at our office in Pikesville (Woodholme Medical Building). Primarily this position supports one provider, but at times may provide cross coverage within the department.

Shift Hours:

Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm Our ideal candidates must be willing to work in a fast paced, team environment and provide excellent care and service to our patients. Internal Medicine / Primary Care experience of 1-2 years is preferred. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for providing a positive, supportive, nurturing, yet professional experience whether triaging calls, rooming patients and assisting during an office visit, or providing follow-up to patients and/or families. The Certified Clinical Medical Assistant will perform a variety of services up to and including: Assistance during routine exams Recording a patient history and logging vital signs. Obtaining and tracking authorizations and test results Entering lab / diagnostic test orders Scheduling appointments, procedures, or imaging Providing Patient Service Representative coverage when needed. Requirements High School Diploma or G.E.D. Current registration/certification with an accredited Medical Assistant program. NHA is a plus! •If you are not certified but have completed an accredited Medical Assistant training program, please still apply! We will work with you to get certified within 90 days of hire, if you are eligible. Internal Medicine / Primary Care (Required) Excellent patient care and customer service skills.
