Tuition Reimbursement Employee Discounts Principal Accountabilities:
Operate all equipment associated with the solvent extraction process: including extractors, distillation, skim pit and mineral oil systems. Operate all equipment associated with the prep process, including flakers, expellers, decanters, and lab analysis equipment. Monitor and adjust operation using computerized and controlled systems to meet department requirements. Process samples utilizing lab equipment to obtain and record values on a computer spreadsheet and collect samples for several process areas Control traffic through department and ensure that all visitors follow Extraction safety rules. Troubleshoot minor problems as required. Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment utilized by facility; determine immediate and long-range needs for maintenance and repair work. Enter work orders utilizing maintenance computer program. Maintaining a safe and clean work environment Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations Interacting regularly with peers and management to pursue continuous improvement of facility operations and promote a teamwork focused environment Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship Must be 18 years or older Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written) High school diploma/GED or a minimum of two years equivalent work experience Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above) Ability to work in confined spaces Ability to work overtime, weekends and holidays, or different shifts with advance notice Basic use of a computer Computer literate including being able to enter and retrieve data Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), such as
