Job Description
As the North American headquarters for G-TEKT Corporation, Jefferson Industries actively participates in the Global Automotive Industry. As part of our involvement, Jefferson Industries Corporation offers design and development for press dies and other tools necessary to produce automotive products. We embrace programs for product development including product design review and Advanced Product Quality Planning. Our facilities support high quality product manufacturing, and we provide a timely and flexible approach to meeting the needs of our customers. We are actively seeking a CNC Operator to join our Engineering Department on 1st Shift (core schedule, Monday through Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm) Position Description Note

Set-up and manage CNC machines to perform different jobs including drilling, grinding and milling. Translate engineering drawings and requirements into dimensions for production. Ensure the CNC machine operates in accordance with the guidelines of the company. Oversee the machines while they execute the tasks and make the necessary changes to produce improved results. Ensure the CNC machine operates in accordance with the guidelines of the company. Check machinery on a daily basis to guarantee functionality. Record hours and job details in Plex daily. Provide timelines to Leadership Members. Communicate logistics issues that arise in the process of creating a part. Ensure that results of machining process align with Leadership expectations. REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent qualification required. Certificate or diploma in engineering is an advantage. 3 years' experience as a CNC machine operator. Ability to translate mechanical documents and engineering drawings. Great attention to detail with a goal-driven attitude. Strong comprehension and analytical abilities. Good computer and mathematical skills. Know basic G-Codes and M-Codes. Load and modify work-NC Programs Work Location:
