About The Opportunity The Label Room Clerk is responsible for ensuring all activities within the Label Room are being conducted according to GMPs and SOP standards. Essential Functions Demonstrates commitment to safety and performs job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures Demonstrates commitment to quality and performs job duties in adherence to GMP & customer guidelines Generates labels as requested by Production Ensures accuracy of labels and label procedures. Ensures labels left from previous shift are accurate. Verifies labels for correct informationIE:
barcode, date code, product code, etc. Creates labels for following shift, ensuring accuracy of labels Receives pre-printed labels and assigns locations Controls and issue all labels requested to production lines via label verification forms Prints labels as required per customer specifications and issue to lines via label verification forms Receives all return labels, verifies count returned, adjusts quantities in Warehouse Management System (WMS), and returns to proper location Works with IT to ensure label machines are running accurately Responsible for label room security, ensuring that the label room is secured at all times, and locked when not in use Performs monthly label inventory Conducts label room trainings with backup staff, when required Notify Quality department on any label issues found Performs other duties as assigned by management/supervisors Performance Measures and Outcomes Adherence to safety policies and procedures Quality of work Production goals Education/Certification Level Desired- High school diploma or equivalent Work Experience Required
- Minimum 1 year or working in a GMP environment Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Safety sensitive position
- ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner Ability to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the business Ability to effectively work in teams Ability to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles Understanding of activities of production and warehousing Must be analytical by nature Must be able to investigate SOPs and GMPs All Menasha Packaging employees must conduct their work in a manner that complies with all legal standards and meets customer expectations.
