ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and competency satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to perform this job. Oversee day-to-day maintenance and watering of plants. Communicate with customers in a professional manner. Use knowledge of turf grass and landscape industry to inform and educate customers. Trim and fertilize plant material Keep plants free of weeds Keep gardens and green spaces clear of debris and litter. Willingness to work as part of a team or alone, in all weather conditions. Follow all policies as specified in the Employee Handbook Commit the hours necessary to make sure the job is done to satisfaction. Make decisions that are in the best interest of the company. Other duties needed to help drive and fulfill the Weller Brothers Mission.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
Ability to work and communicate professionally with customers and team members Superior customer service skills Lead by example Proficient computer knowledge Ability to manage multiple tasks Strong attention to detail
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Must be at least 18 years old High school diploma/GED required Degree in Horticulture preferred One year experience preferred but not required
JOB SUMMARY
The primary responsibilities of the Plant Waterer/Groomer are to monitor the health of plants, watering and feeding plants, weeding gardens, and keeping green spaces and walkways clear of debris and litter. Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers promptly and courteously. Answer questions and provide information as needed. Perform all job responsibilities in a safe, timely and efficient manner.
