Position Overview:
As a part of our dedicated team,our Bagging Production team bag, seal, stack, wrap, and stage mulch and various decorative gravel products for distribution. Palletizing various rock products from bulk form, as well as from a tumbler, to fill customer orders and stock yard for future orders. Some assist from equipment, the rest is direct physical work. Indoor working situations as well as outdoor, weather depending.
What You'll Do:
Operate front end loader to fill hopper with material for bagging or tumbling Operate forklift, Teledyne, or backhoe to move, empty or loaded pallets and product Attach bags to machine for filling Put full bags into sealer for closure Lift bags of product from conveyor belt and stack onto pallets Rake rock off bucket into hopper Shovel, sweep and pick up to maintain safe working area Stock bags for bagger and plastic rolls for wrapping Use wire cutting pliers and/or bolt cutters to assemble wire cages and tie off for delivery Daily equipment checks and routine
Maintenance Skills We Are Seeking:
: Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds Forklift experience is a plus Valid Driver's License Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work quickly and accurately Ready and willing to learn and adopt new technologies and ways of working Landscape, Nursery, or Irrigation product knowledge is helpful High school diploma or equivalent preferred
