Coating Technician -
Coppell, TX Pay:
$18.00-$21.00 per hour

Shift:
2:00 PM - 10:30 PM) Our client in Dallas is actively hiring Coating Technicians to support their production team. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and ideal for someone who enjoys physical, detail-oriented work in a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Apply catalytic WashCoat (water-based, paint-like material) to ceramic or metallic substrates using dipping or pouring methods. Record weights by entering numeric data into a computer database. Load coated substrates into a batching oven and unload/pack completed substrates onto pallets.
Perform ancillary tasks including:
Laser etching codes onto substrates Applying insulation tape around coated substrates Maintaining coating stations and keeping equipment clean Lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs (role involves significant manual labor). No specialized or powder coating experience required. Education & Experience High school diploma or GED preferred. 1-3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of experience and training. Experience with chemicals is a plus. Basic computer skills preferred. Forklift experience is a plus. Requirements Must pass a drug test. Must have a valid ID. Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. No felonies.
