The process engineer role ensures the development, execution, control and continuous improvement of all manufacturing processes. Responsibilities 1. Ensure all job start activities for new and revised processes within the manufacturing facility which include tool and process development, meet established quality and timing requirements. 2. Responsible for validation of new and or revised processes in the production lines. 3. Development and documentation of process control methods and instructions. 4. Continuously investigates for new and improved equipment or processes in support of the organization's continuous improvement processes. 5. Participate in quoting, feasibility study, and development of new processes and products. 6. Participate in APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) activities, including feasibility studies and development of related documentation 7. Assist in PPAP submissions. 8. Participation in internal audit activities, when required. 9. Review and react to process/manufacturing reporting metrics and participate in continuous improvement activities relating to this area. 10. Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to product, process and quality system. 11. Identify and record any problems to the product, process and quality system. 12. Participate in training and orientation of new employees, when required. 13. Adhere to all required safety guidelines and report hazards or violations. 14. Miscellaneous duties as required by manager. 15. Ensure that all accidents and injuries are promptly reported. 16. Performs other duties as assigned.
