A Landscaping or Grounds Supervisor supervises the staff that provide landscaping for residences, parks, public gardens, college campuses or building or office park grounds. Supervises work to care for plants and trees, including mowing, trimming and planting, and work to repair driveways, walks, benches or other structures. Oversees equipment maintenance and transportation, and communicates with residential customers.

Job Description
Duties include:
Purchase and pick up supplies and materials, organize landscaping projects, care of equipment, regular mowing, fertilizing, watering, clearing of brush and removal of beetle-killed spruce trees, replanting of trees, shrubs, and flowers, and the care of landscape plantings and our community garden space. Successful applicants become partners with us in developing a beautiful campus of walking paths, flowers, lawns, fruit trees, and garden areas. Help make our shared vision take shape over the years. Seasonal thru mid to late October. Up to 40 hrs./week.Knowledge and experience required:
- Must be knowledgeable about safe operation of power equipment, including mowers, weedwhacker, brush hog, chain saw, wood chipper, stump grinder.
- Ability and /or experience with growing things, care of trees, flowering plants, etc.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and achieve objectives according to schedule.
- Ability to interact with campus staff and visitors in a consistently professional and welcoming way. This job requires considerable strenuous physical labor in varying weather conditions, and a close attention to safety. Must have own transportation and current driver's license.
- You will work as a team member of the groundskeeping crew, under the direction of the groundskeeping supervisor.
