Job Description

Job Summary:
The Bark Park Manager is responsible for the overall leadership and daily operations of the facility. This includes ensuring the safety and well-being of all dogs, supervising staff, managing client relations, overseeing scheduling and inventory, and coordinating enrichment activities. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in both management and animal care, with strong leadership skills to effectively support and guide a diverse team while upholding the reputation and growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of daycare, boarding, grooming, and enrichment services Lead, train, and evaluate team members; support hiring and onboarding processes Ensure a clean, safe, and organized environment for dogs and pet parents Plan and execute events, promotions, and enrichment programs Maintain accurate reporting on operations, client feedback, and staff performance Contribute to strategic and operational improvements across departments Respond promptly and professionally to customer concerns and inquiries
Requirements:
Prior management experience (preferably in pet care, hospitality, or recreation) Strong communication, scheduling, and team leadership skills Comfortable handling dogs of various sizes and temperaments Excellent customer service with a solutions-oriented mindset Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations Passionate about fostering a positive, supportive environment for both dogs and team members
