Responsibilities Assist in managing daily groundskeeping operations, including turf maintenance, landscaping, and hardscaping construction projects. Supervise and coordinate crew members to ensure efficient execution of grounds maintenance tasks. Oversee irrigation systems, ensuring proper operation, scheduling, and troubleshooting to maintain optimal turf health. Identify plants, trees, and shrubs to support horticultural health and landscape design goals. Operate groundskeeping equipment safely and effectively, including mowers, trimmers, and company vehicles. Lead efforts in lawn care, tree care, gardening, and general landscape maintenance to uphold aesthetic standards. Manage outdoor work schedules, prioritize tasks, and ensure compliance with safety protocols across all projects. Qualifications Proven supervising or team management experience within groundskeeping or landscaping environments. Strong knowledge of lawn care practices, landscape maintenance techniques, and hardscape construction. Skilled in plant identification, horticulture principles, and tree care practices. Experience operating irrigation systems and managing irrigation schedules for large outdoor spaces. Familiarity with groundskeeping equipment operation including mowers, trimmers, aerators, and related tools. Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on crew management and motivating teams. Ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions with attention to detail and safety standards.
