Greenscapes Landcare Inc. is a family owned and operated company that has been providing outstanding customized service to our clients since 2003. We pride ourselves in creating fresh and unique designs. As a licensed, bonded, and insured landscape company we provide a one stop shop for all areas of landscape. Wanted an experienced Landscape Foreman for an established landscape design, construction, and maintenance company with insurance and PTO benefits. The ideal candidate will have prior foreman experience, 2-3 years, have a "Can-Do" attitude, be a self-starter, desire to be at their best every day, and want to be a part of a growing organization. The Landscape Foreman must be able to organize and lead a general maintenance landscape crew to complete daily maintenance as assigned. The Landscape Foreman must have a wide range of skills, knowledge in planting, irrigation installation and repair, controller settings, landscape installation, small equipment, and ability to understand construction plans, among other skills. This is a physically demanding role. Bilingual is a plus and must have a valid Arizona's driver's license. Must be able to E verify and drug test.
Job Responsibilities and Skills needed:
Provide day-to-day leadership to the crew. Ensuring each employee is proficient in working with the tools and equipment needed, properly oriented to the task at hand, receives guidance, performance feedback, and any corrective direction to ensure a successful crew member. Conduct daily job site inspections Complete job site punch Knowledge of plants and horticulture. Standard and proper planting techniques Schedule delivery of materials and equipment Monitor crew's production rates, quality, and safety This is a working leadership role that involves working side-by-side with the crew to get the job done properly, on time and on budget. Excellent planning, organizing, and leadership/supervisory skills; ability to focus/ align crew to complete projects on-time. Creative, pro-active problem-solving skills. Cut turf using various sized power mowers, trimming, and edging using gas powered edger/trimmer, and operating gas-powered blowers Properly and safely prune shrubs and low trees as needed to improve the shape or growth habit or to remove damaged branches Plant and maintain flower beds Properly and safely operate the edger and line trimmer along sidewalks, flower beds, trees, buildings, fences, and other objects Pick up trash and blow leaves and other organic debris on to the turf before mowing. Mulch the leaves and organic matter when mowing. Perform weeding by hand or using a garden hoe or hula hoe Installs sod and plant material Assists with lawn area grading via digging, trenching, and excavating Self-Starter, punctual, and dependable. Strong customer, quality, and results oriented. Responsible for maintaining and upkeep of company equipment. Experience driving trucks and trailers and operating landscape equipment. Work outside in AZ conditions. Must be able to see, hear, speak, and write clearly to communicate with customers, managers, and employees. $500 bonus! Next Day Pay available
