Landscape Maintenance Foreman / Crew Leader Greenzone Landscape is hiring an experienced Landscape Maintenance Foreman / Crew Leader to lead a landscape maintenance crew servicing high-end residential properties throughout the Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Paradise Valley areas. We are looking for a dependable, experienced landscape professional who can lead a crew, work alongside team members, follow property instructions, and make sure every property is completed to a high standard. This is a hands-on position . The Foreman / Crew Leader will be responsible for both performing landscape maintenance work and directing the crew throughout the workday. Responsibilities Lead and work alongside a landscape maintenance crew. Make sure each property is serviced according to its specific maintenance requirements. Assign tasks to crew members and keep the crew organized and productive. Perform and supervise trimming of shrubs, hedges, small trees, and other landscape plants. Mow, edge, blow, weed, rake, and perform general landscape maintenance as needed. Maintain clean and detailed landscape beds, patios, walkways, driveways, and other areas around luxury homes. Identify and report irrigation leaks, broken sprinklers, clogged emitters, dry plants, excessive watering, and other irrigation concerns. Understand basic drip irrigation and sprinkler systems. Recognize struggling or damaged plants and report concerns to the supervisor. Ensure plants are trimmed properly and not excessively or incorrectly cut. Follow property notes, client requests, and instructions from the Maintenance Supervisor. Perform a final walkthrough before leaving each property. Make sure gates are properly closed and work areas are left clean. Take photos and communicate problems or completed work when required. Properly operate and care for landscape equipment. Keep company trucks, trailers, tools, and equipment clean and organized. Follow company safety procedures. Communicate professionally with homeowners, property managers, supervisors, and other team members. Qualifications Previous professional landscape maintenance experience required. Previous Foreman, Crew Leader, or similar leadership experience preferred. Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance practices. Basic irrigation knowledge and ability to recognize common irrigation problems. Experience with Arizona desert landscapes and plants preferred. Ability to properly trim shrubs, hedges, and small trees. Ability to operate commercial landscape equipment safely. Strong attention to detail. Ability to lead employees and maintain crew productivity. Dependable and punctual. Professional attitude and appearance. Ability to work outdoors in Arizona weather conditions. Valid driver's license and good driving record preferred. Ability to safely drive a landscape truck and trailer preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred. What We're Looking For Greenzone Landscape maintains high-end residential properties where attention to detail is extremely important . We are looking for a crew leader who does not simply try to finish the property as quickly as possible. The right person should notice when something does not look right and take responsibility for correcting it or reporting it. You should be able to walk a property and recognize details such as missed weeds, uneven trimming, debris, irrigation leaks, dry plants, broken sprinklers, improperly trimmed shrubs, or areas that need additional attention. The Foreman / Crew Leader is responsible for making sure the crew leaves every property clean, detailed, and professionally maintained .
