POSITION SUMMARY

The Landscape Maintenance Foreman leads a crew through daily field operations — mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, weeding, fertilizing, and site clean-up — and owns the result: work done to Dinsmore's standard, on schedule, safely. You're the on-site point of contact: the person crew members look to for direction and the person supervisors and clients look to for straight answers on site progress and issues.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and direct the maintenance crew through daily operations, assigning tasks and monitoring progress to keep every site on schedule. Run pre-job and post-job inspections so work meets Dinsmore's quality standard before you leave the site, not after a callback. Train crew members on landscaping technique, equipment operation, and safety practice — hands-on, in the field. Enforce PPE use and safety policy on every site, every day. Report equipment breakdowns, shortages, or safety concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor as they happen. Keep accurate daily records of crew attendance, job progress, and property notes. Communicate site issues, client requests, and additional service needs to supervisors and managers — early enough to act on them. Set the standard for professionalism, work ethic, and teamwork that the rest of the crew follows.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 2 years of landscape maintenance experience, including at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role. Strong working knowledge of landscaping practices, plant care, and seasonal maintenance needs. Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a crew in the field. Safe, proficient operation of landscaping tools and equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, and similar). Strong organizational and time-management skills. Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and perform physical labor. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to tow trailers is a plus.

Preferred:

proficiency with Aspire or a similar crew management/reporting tool; bilingual English/Spanish.

PAY SCALE & BENEFITS

$23.00 - $27.00

Hours:

6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday-Friday.
