Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Landscape Production Manager to lead our landscape maintenance teams in delivering exceptional landscaping and grounds maintenance services. Duties Supervise and coordinate landscape maintenance, hardscaping construction projects, and groundskeeping activities to ensure timely completion and quality standards. Manage daily operations of crews performing lawn care, planting, pruning, irrigation installation and repair, tree care, and general grounds maintenance. Oversee the operation of groundskeeping and landscaping equipment, including company vehicles, ensuring safety and proper usage. Plan project schedules, assign tasks to team members based on skill sets, and monitor progress to meet project deadlines. Conduct plant identification assessments to ensure proper horticultural practices are followed; recommend landscape improvements. Maintain safety protocols across all outdoor activities; conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions for crew members. Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop project scopes, budgets, and timelines while ensuring customer satisfaction. Manage irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting to optimize water efficiency for various landscapes. Monitor inventory levels of groundskeeping supplies and landscape materials; coordinate procurement as needed. Qualifications Proven experience supervising landscape maintenance teams with a strong background in lawn care, gardening, tree care, and groundskeeping. Demonstrated knowledge of horticulture principles including plant identification and landscape design fundamentals. Hands-on experience with hardscaping construction projects such as patios or retaining walls is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage crew members effectively while fostering teamwork and motivation. Excellent organizational skills to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with irrigation management systems and troubleshooting techniques. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles safely in outdoor environments. Knowledge of landscape equipment operation including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other grounds maintenance tools. Outdoor work experience in various weather conditions; physical stamina to perform manual tasks as required. Commitment to safety standards and best practices in landscaping operations; ability to train others on safety procedures.
