Duties Supervise and coordinate daily activities of landscaping crews to ensure efficient completion of projects including lawn care, planting, pruning, and hardscape installation Manage hardscaping construction projects such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and outdoor structures from planning through execution Oversee irrigation system installation, repairs, and maintenance to ensure optimal water efficiency and landscape health Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to guide proper planting, pruning, and care practices Operate groundskeeping equipment safely and effectively while maintaining the condition of company vehicles and machinery Assign tasks based on crew skill levels, monitor progress, provide training when necessary, and foster a team-oriented environment Conduct regular inspections of work sites to uphold safety standards, quality control, and adherence to project specifications Requirements Proven experience in landscape maintenance, lawn care, gardening or groundskeeping with a strong understanding of horticulture principles Supervising experience leading teams in outdoor or landscaping environments Knowledge of plant identification, tree care practices, irrigation systems management, and hardscape construction techniques Ability to operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and ground maintenance tools safely and efficiently Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage crew members effectively while promoting teamwork and safety compliance Experience managing irrigation systems including installation and troubleshooting for water efficiency Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles required for site visits and equipment transport Physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions; attention to detail in grounds maintenance tasks Join us as a Landscape Foreman where your expertise will shape vibrant outdoor spaces while leading a motivated team.
