Job Description
Purpose of Position Maintain the facility in partnership with other staff to create a safe, healthy, efficient and positive church environment. General Qualifications Basic knowledge of construction, maintenance and repair Self-motivated Able to lift 30 pounds Works safely Cooperates with volunteers and work staff members Comfortable working on ladders Responsibilities Assess performance of electrical, ventilation, and plumbing equipment Evaluate and perform maintenance of buildings and grounds Make minor repairs as needed Recommend major repair projects Caretaker is authorized to prioritize projects Other responsibilities as needed Accountability Accountable to Trustees, Staff Parish Relations Committee and Pastor for the satisfactory fulfillment of all functions and responsibilities. Hours This position is five hours per week. Can contract hours for other projects. Holidays/vacation/personal leave/retirement These benefits will be as outlined in the Church policy
