Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and experienced Landscape Foreman to lead outdoor maintenance and landscaping projects with energy and precision. In this role, you will oversee crew operations, manage landscaping tasks, and ensure the successful completion of construction projects. Your leadership will drive team productivity, uphold safety standards, and deliver high-quality grounds maintenance services. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about horticulture, hardscape installation, and outdoor aesthetics to make a tangible impact on beautiful landscapes. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily landscape maintenance activities, including lawn care, gardening, planting, pruning, and grounds upkeep. Lead a team of crew members in executing landscaping projects efficiently while maintaining safety protocols. Manage irrigation systems, troubleshoot issues, and oversee irrigation installation and repairs to ensure optimal watering practices. Operate grounds maintenance equipment and company vehicles safely and responsibly during outdoor work. Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to ensure proper care and landscape design adherence. Oversee hardscape installations such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures. Ensure quality control throughout all phases of landscaping work, including tree care and grounds enhancement efforts. Qualifications Proven supervising experience with a strong background in landscape maintenance or related outdoor work. Knowledge of lawn care techniques, horticulture principles, plant identification, and tree care practices. Hands-on experience operating grounds equipment, irrigation systems, and landscaping tools. Ability to manage multiple construction projects simultaneously while leading a crew effectively. Excellent leadership skills with a focus on team management and crew motivation. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles safely. Strong communication skills to coordinate tasks clearly with team members and clients. Outdoor work experience in various weather conditions is preferred; a passion for gardening and landscaping is essential. Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
