We provide high-quality landscape maintenance, irrigation, lawn care, planting, and landscape improvement projects for residential, HOA, and commercial properties. As we continue to grow, we are looking for someone who wants to take on a leadership role and help manage the daily operations of the company. This is not just another landscaping job. The right person will work directly with the owner and office manager to support our crews, improve our systems, maintain high-quality standards, and continue building a company our employees and customers are proud of. Position Overview The Landscape Operations Manager will help oversee daily field operations, manage crews, coordinate projects, assist with estimates and planning, maintain quality standards, and keep the company running smoothly. This position requires someone who understands landscaping from hands-on experience but is also ready to step into a larger leadership role. Some days will involve working alongside crews, while others will involve organizing schedules, checking job sites, training employees, meeting with customers, planning upcoming projects, or improving company systems. We are looking for someone who can see the big picture, make decisions, and take ownership. Responsibilities, Crew Leadership & Daily Operations Lead, support, and manage multiple landscape crews Help create daily schedules and crew assignments Make sure crews have the equipment, materials, and information needed to complete jobs efficiently Train employees on quality standards, efficiency, safety, and proper techniques Perform quality checks on properties and completed projects Help create a positive work environment where employees feel valued while maintaining accountability Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and developing team members Communicate expectations clearly with crews and leadership Help solve daily problems and keep operations moving Landscape Maintenance & Project Management Help manage, plan, and oversee services including: Lawn mowing and property maintenance Garden maintenance and weeding Mulch installation Pruning and plant care Sod installation and lawn renovations Seeding, aeration, and lawn improvements Irrigation repairs and troubleshooting Landscape enhancement projects Planting projects Material ordering and job planning Additional experience is a plus: Flagstone patios Paver patios Retaining walls Masonry work Drainage projects Grading and excavation Skid steer and equipment operation Other landscape construction projects Scheduling, Estimating & Administration Work directly with the owner and office manager on scheduling, project planning, estimates, and company operations Assist with creating estimates and proposals Help measure properties, calculate materials, and plan labor requirements Help plan upcoming jobs, materials, equipment needs, and crew assignments Communicate professionally with customers when needed Help coordinate materials, deliveries, subcontractors, and project timelines Use Jobber software for scheduling, crew communication, job notes, photos, time tracking, estimates, and daily operations Review employee time entries and approve timesheets for accuracy Ensure labor hours are being tracked correctly for scheduling, payroll, and job costing Identify ways to improve efficiency, organization, and customer experience Equipment & Organization Help oversee trucks, trailers, tools, and equipment Keep the shop and yard clean, organized, and efficient Make sure crews have the right tools and equipment for their jobs Perform and oversee basic equipment maintenance, including: Sharpening and replacing mower blades Oil changes Replacing and tensioning trimmer lines Basic adjustments and repairs Troubleshooting equipment issues Identify equipment problems early and coordinate larger repairs when needed Help improve systems that make daily operations smoother Winter Snow Removal Opportunity For candidates interested in year-round work, we offer opportunities with our winter snow removal operations. The winter role is a combination of equipment operation, hands-on snow removal, and leadership depending on the size and needs of our snow operation.
Responsibilities may include:
Operating plow trucks and/or skid steers Performing snow removal services during storms Leading and coordinating snow removal crew members Helping plan routes and improve efficiency Monitoring storms and preparing equipment Performing equipment inspections and basic maintenance Communicating with the owner, office manager, crew members, and customers as needed Snow responsibilities will vary depending on company needs, weather, and the candidate's experience level.
