• Full-time Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and motivated Mowing Team Leader to spearhead our landscape maintenance crew.

In this vital role, you will oversee daily mowing operations, ensure high standards of lawn care, and lead your team to deliver exceptional outdoor environments. Duties Lead and supervise a crew responsible for mowing, trimming, edging, and general lawn care across various sites Coordinate daily schedules to maximize efficiency and meet project deadlines for construction projects Ensure all landscape maintenance tasks adhere to safety standards and company policies Identify plants, trees, and shrubs to inform proper care techniques and troubleshoot landscape issues Manage irrigation systems to optimize watering schedules and prevent water wastage Conduct regular inspections of equipment and tools, performing maintenance or arranging repairs as needed Provide training and mentorship to crew members on landscaping best practices, safety procedures, and technical skills Skills Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, or horticulture with a focus on lawn care and plant identification Strong supervising and team management skills with the ability to motivate a crew effectively Knowledge of irrigation management, irrigation systems, and general garden maintenance techniques Construction experience related to projects is highly desirable Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to oversee multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail Familiarity with tree care, gardening practices, and overall landscape upkeep Effective communication skills for coordinating with clients, team members, and vendors Ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and implement solutions confidently Join us as a Mowing Team Leader and take charge of creating vibrant outdoor spaces!
