Job Description:
All Year Lawn is growing fast, and we're looking for a driven, dependable Lawn Care & Tick Control Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who wants to be independent, productive, and rewarded for performance — not just clock in and out. You'll be running a route, servicing properties, and playing a key role in delivering visible results for our customers' lawns and outdoor spaces. What You'll Be Doing Applying fertilizer, weed control, and tick/mosquito treatments Running a daily service route efficiently and independently Operating ride-on spreaders, sprayers, and application equipment Diagnosing lawn issues (weeds, insects, turf health) and making recommendations Communicating with customers professionally on-site Coordinating with Office staff w/potential upsells and job notes. Upselling services when appropriate (fert upgrades, tick control, aeration, etc.) Maintaining clean, organized equipment and truck/trailer setups What We're Looking For 10+ years lawn care / fertilization experience preferred Valid driver's license ( REQUIRED ) CT Commercial Pesticide Applicator's License / Junior Operator's License. Candidates holding active supervisory certifications (3A, 7F, 7A ) will be strongly preferred & may qualify for higher pay and leadership advancement. Ability to operate spreaders, sprayers, and application equipment Ability to drive a truck and operate a trailer safely and responsibly Knowledge in herbicides, mixing product, preparing and calibrating spreader/sprayers. $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
