Job Description

Full Job Description Wilhelm Site Services is looking for a Lead Foreman to join our team. We have quite a few sites going and we're looking for the right person to help us stay on top of them. We're building for the long term, and we like investing in our people, building solid crews, and giving the right people room to grow. This is a boots-on-the-ground leadership position . You'll be running a site, leading the crew, and keeping the job moving from mobilization to closeout in most cases.
This role includes:
Plan Reading You need to understand a full plan set — the layers, sequencing, layout, what's going on, and what questions it raises so we can work through them. Layout & Surveying You'll need to do some of your own layout and coordinate with surveyors. We also use GPS equipment, so GPS experience is a strong plus. Grading Setting grade, cuts and fills, compaction, and setting the pace for the crew on all of it. Pipe Work Laying pipe, understanding bedding, inverts, and proper installation. Running Equipment You need to know how to run equipment so you can give clear direction to your crew. Some days, you may also be in the machine yourself. Project Management & Communication Daily reporting, coordinating with GCs, subs, and inspections, keeping paperwork and reports moving, and setting the pace for the entire site. We take a holistic approach at WSS — everything needs to make sense for everybody at the table. Keeping the administrative side moving forward with a good attitude is part of this role. Crew Leadership You'll manage people, not just equipment. We need someone who can lead a crew, run efficient projects, and hold people accountable. This is a traveling position. Many of our projects are several hours from home — we travel out for the week. We're also pursuing local projects, and those are always nice when we land them, but you should be ready to be on the road. What We Bring to the Table Company truck — and our people who prove themselves and kill it? They pick their trucks. They pick their tools. Competitive pay commensurate with experience. Tremendous opportunity to grow with a company that's on the way up. If this sounds like you, reach out. In your application, tell us why this fits you. We're a hustling company. We get after it every day. If you do too, there's a serious opportunity here.
