Job Description

An established landscaping company serving the Tampa Bay area is seeking an experienced Landscape Maintenance Foreman to lead a lawn-maintenance crew servicing commercial and residential properties. This is a hands-on leadership position. The foreman must be able to supervise a crew while also performing professional landscape maintenance efficiently and correctly. Applicants must already know how to operate and maintain commercial landscaping equipment. This is not an entry-level training position.
Responsibilities:
Lead and work alongside a landscape maintenance crew Assign daily tasks and keep the crew working efficiently Follow property schedules, routes, and work orders Inspect completed work to ensure every property meets company standards Professionally operate zero-turn and stand-on mowers, weed eaters, edgers, blowers, hedge trimmers, and other landscaping equipment Properly mow, edge, trim, blow, and detail commercial properties Identify missed areas, equipment problems, damage, and property concerns Communicate with management regarding crew performance, delays, or additional work needed Safely drive a company truck and landscaping trailer between job sites Maintain tools, equipment, trucks, and trailers Follow company and job-site safety procedures
Required Qualifications:
Valid driver's license Previous professional landscaping or lawn-maintenance experience Previous experience leading or supervising a landscaping crew Ability to safely drive a truck while towing a landscaping trailer Strong knowledge of commercial lawn-maintenance equipment Ability to string, operate, and troubleshoot a weed eater Reliable transportation to the designated meeting location Dependable attendance and punctuality Ability to work outdoors in Florida heat and changing weather conditions Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the shift Ability to communicate clearly and follow instructions Must be able to work in a drug-free workplace Applicants should be prepared to explain their previous landscaping and crew-leadership experience. Equipment knowledge and operating ability will be verified during the hiring process.

Full-time, starting at approximately 7:30
AM Pay:
Based on verifiable experience and skill level
Pay:
$16.00 - $22.00 per hour
