Landscape Laborer Paradise Outdoor Lifestyles, LLCDes Moines Metro, Iowa Paradise Outdoor Lifestyles is looking for a dependable, hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our growing team. We specialize in creating high-quality outdoor living spaces, including swimming pools, retaining walls, hardscapes, drainage, grading, and complete landscape installations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, and wants the opportunity to learn multiple aspects of the landscaping and outdoor construction industry. Responsibilities As a Landscape Laborer, you will assist with a wide variety of projects and tasks, including: Installing retaining walls and segmental block systems Excavation, grading, and site preparation Installing base material and proper compaction Installing landscape edging Mulch and decorative rock installation Planting trees, shrubs, and landscape plants Sod installation and final grading Drainage and drain tile installation Paver and hardscape installation General landscape construction Assisting with swimming pool and outdoor living projects Loading, unloading, and moving materials Operating hand and power tools Assisting with skid loaders, mini excavators, compactors, and other equipment when qualified Maintaining clean, organized, and professional job sites Performing general labor as needed to complete projects efficiently What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who: Is dependable and shows up on time Has a strong work ethic Is comfortable performing physical outdoor work Can lift 50-75 lbs. regularly Is willing to work in varying Iowa weather conditions Takes direction and works well with a team Pays attention to details Takes pride in producing quality work Is willing to learn new skills Takes initiative instead of waiting to be told what to do Maintains a positive, professional attitude Respects customers, coworkers, equipment, and property Previous landscaping, construction, hardscape, concrete, excavation, or equipment experience is preferred but not required.
