We work almost exclusively with commercial clients that demand a certain standard everyday we are on their sites. We offer full range services including but not limited to mowing, edging, blowing, fertilizer and chemical applications, soil remediation, plant and turf health assessments, pruning, irrigation management & repairs, and more. Attention to detail, understanding of how different components of a landscape work together, and the ability to efficiently manage a crew are all critical to this role. Additionally, strong communication skills with supervisors and clients are required. Continental plans to scale to a multi-crew, multidivisional company and eventually offer hardscape services and enhancements. Duties Supervise and coordinate landscape maintenance crew(s) to ensure efficient completion of lawn care, planting, pruning, and groundskeeping tasks Oversee hardscaping construction projects including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other hardscape elements Manage irrigation systems—installation, repair, and ongoing maintenance—to promote healthy landscapes Identify plants accurately to guide proper care and troubleshoot horticultural issues effectively Operate grounds maintenance equipment safely and efficiently, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, company vehicles, and occasionally heavy equipment Schedule and assign daily tasks while monitoring progress to meet project deadlines and quality standards Enforce safety protocols across all outdoor work activities to maintain a secure working environment for team members Lead team management efforts by mentoring crew members, providing training on landscape techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures Perform all tasks associated with general landscape maintenance Skills (Required) Extensive outdoor work experience with a focus on grounds maintenance and landscaping practices Proven supervising experience with team management capabilities in outdoor environments Strong knowledge of lawn care, horticulture, plant identification, and groundskeeping techniques Skilled in irrigation management—including installation and troubleshooting of irrigation systems Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently; experience with grounds maintenance tools required Leadership qualities with excellent communication skills to motivate teams and coordinate tasks effectively Knowledge of tree care practices and gardening principles for diverse landscape settings Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles required Be able to lift 100 lbs Willingness to work long hours in harsh conditions, and motivate crews to do so as well Speak English fluently Skills (Preferred) Construction experience related to hardscaping projects such as patios or retaining walls is highly desirable Have or be willing/able to obtain an applicators license through ISDA Understanding of hydralics and landscape plans Willingness to take rotating on-call shifts for emergency response on off hours Speak Spanish and English fluently This position will be open for applications as of Jan 1, 2027. We are seeking an experienced landscape foreman who is willing to work with a company in it's early stages and work towards and upper management position as the company grows. Flexibility and willingness to do undesirable tasks with a long term vision in mind will be critical for success to work here. Once the company is established, we will actively work on updated benefit packages to include dental and vision care, 401(k) plans, and additional paid time off. Possibility of company vehicle.
