Supervises work to care for plants and trees, including mowing, trimming and planting, and work to repair driveways, walks, benches or other structures. Oversees equipment maintenance and transportation, and communicates with residential customers.

Job Description

Position Overview Pine Landscape is looking for a reliable, experienced Crew Leader who's hungry to build a career in landscaping. In this role, you'll supervise a team of 2-4 technicians, manage equipment and materials, uphold our safety and quality standards, and serve as the direct point of contact with our clients on-site. Pine Landscape is a purpose-built landscape maintenance company focused exclusively on multifamily properties. We believe in quality first, which leads to sustainable growth, not overloaded crews and rushed jobs. What You'll Do
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate your maintenance crew in a positive, productive manner.
  • Deliver high-quality landscape maintenance services, such as mowing, edging, trimming, blowing, bed maintenance, and spring/fall cleanup.
  • Maintain quality control, using your landscaping experience to ensure every job meets Pine's standards and the property's specifications.
  • Promote and model safe operation of equipment, tools, and vehicles.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact on-site, maintaining strong working relationships with property managers, clients, and your crew.
  • Complete daily/service reports, timesheets, and material tracking accurately and on time.
  • Help train and develop crew members, providing ongoing feedback on their performance. What You Bring
  • 2+ years of commercial landscape or grounds maintenance experience.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor a team. 1-2 years supervising a crew preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record; comfortable towing a loaded trailer.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly and work outdoors in all weather conditions, including winter. Schedule
  • Average workweek: 8-10 hours per day, Monday through Friday, with flexibility depending on weather conditions and customer needs.
  • Occasional weekend work may be required to complete jobs on schedule.
  • This is a year-round role with seasonal snow support in winter months.
Pay:
$26.00 - $30.00 per hour
