Job Description

William Quinn & Sons has been maintaining properties across Chicago's south and west suburbs since 1951 — three generations, same family, same yard on 127th Street in Alsip. We work on premium residential and commercial accounts, and we're looking to add a foreman who can take a crew and a route and own it. As a foreman here, you'll lead a crew of two to four and be responsible for the quality of the properties on your route — mowing, string trimming, shrub trimming, cleanups, and keeping customers happy. Depending on your background, there's also room on our spray side for anyone with turf and pesticide application experience. What we're looking for: 5+ years in landscape maintenance, with real experience running a crew Comfortable operating stand-on and walk-behind mowers, trimmers, blowers, and general maintenance equipment Able to drive a Ford F350 landscape body pulling a 20-foot enclosed trailer, and back it up Valid driver's license and a clean driving record Can keep a crew moving, hit a route on schedule, and handle a customer conversation on site Illinois pesticide applicator license is a plus — not required, and we'll help you get it What we offer: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour to start, based on your experience, reviewed at 30 days Full-time, Monday through Friday, paid weekly Overtime paid at time and a half when available Year-round work — our snow division keeps our people working through the winter Paid time off Monthly employee party days — we take care of the people who take care of our customers How to apply: Apply in person at 3860 W. 127th St., Alsip, IL 60803, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Bring a picture ID. If you're currently working and can't make those hours, give the office a call at 708-389-8119 and we'll set up a time that works. Third generation. Family owned. Come grow with us.
