Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Full Time Grounds Supervisor to lead our outdoor Cemetery grounds dept. In this role, you will oversee the care and upkeep of various ground duties , equipment repair/maintenance, perform cemetery services and the installation of memorials. Your leadership will maintain high standards of cemetery grounds maintenance and cemetery services. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage diverse outdoor tasks, from lawn care to cemetery services, all while fostering a positive and productive work environment. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily grounds maintenance activities, including cemetery interment services, memorial installations, grounds maintenance, equipment maintenance and landscape upkeep. Lead and manage a team of groundskeeping staff, providing clear direction and support for all cemetery services. Operate grounds maintenance equipment (including backhoe), safely and efficiently, including mowers, trimmers, saws, tampers and company vehicles. Conduct regular inspections of grounds to identify issues requiring attention or repair. Coordinate with vendors or contractors for specialized services for products and materials. Maintain detailed records of work performed, equipment usage, safety meetings and project progress to ensure accountability and continuous improvement. Experience Proven supervising experience in groundskeeping and cemetery maintenance roles. Extensive outdoor work experience with lawn care, cemetery services and grounds maintenance equipment operation. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage crew members effectively and foster teamwork. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and safety Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles in outdoor environments.

Pay:

$50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
