In this role, you will oversee daily mowing operations, coordinate landscape maintenance projects, and manage crew members to ensure efficient and safe work practices. Your leadership will help maintain beautiful, healthy outdoor spaces while fostering a positive team environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine hands-on outdoor work with team management responsibilities, ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest standards. Duties Supervise and coordinate mowing crews, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and according to project specifications Lead landscape maintenance activities including lawn care, plant identification, pruning, and general groundskeeping. Operate grounds maintenance equipment safely and effectively, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and company vehicles Assign daily tasks to crew members based on project priorities and skill levels; monitor progress and provide guidance as needed Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations during all outdoor work activities Operate snow removal equipment and lead a team to ensure clearing lots in a proper manor Qualifications Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or groundskeeping Supervising or team management experience in outdoor or landscaping environments Ability to identify various plants and understand their care requirements Skilled in operating groundskeeping equipment and landscaping tools safely and efficiently Knowledge of irrigation systems installation, repair, and management is a plus Experience with hardscaping construction projects is a plus Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse crew effectively Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles; ability to operate outdoor equipment confidently Excellent communication skills; detail-oriented with a focus on safety and quality standards Join us as a Mowing Crew Supervisor to lead dynamic teams in transforming outdoor spaces into vibrant landscapes!
