In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional property performance, maintaining high tenant satisfaction, and adhering to all relevant regulations. Your leadership will drive leasing success, foster positive client relationships, and ensure the property operates smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations to maximize occupancy and revenue. Oversee lease or rental agreement management, ensuring compliance with legal standards such as Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant laws. Utilize property management tools like Yardi, OneSite, and CMMS to track leasing activity, rent collections, maintenance requests, and financial reporting. Coordinate property maintenance and facilities management to ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for residents. Conduct regular client communication through phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings to address inquiries, resolve conflicts, and upsell available services or units. Prepare budgets, monitor expenses, and implement cost-effective strategies aligned with property goals. Lead a team of staff members by providing guidance on customer service excellence, conflict management, and operational procedures. Skills Proficiency with property management software such as Yardi, OneSite, or similar platforms. Strong knowledge of legal administrative processes related to leasing and property management. Familiarity with Landlord-Tenant Law, Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 housing programs, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), and office experience in property management environments. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone etiquette and client relationship management practices. Experience in negotiation of contracts, lease agreements, and conflict resolution strategies. Ability to manage budgets efficiently while maintaining high standards of property upkeep and tenant satisfaction. Skilled in data entry, filing systems (including electronic records), facilities management tools like CMMS systems, and general administrative tasks such as filing and data organization.
