Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Superintendent of Golf Course to lead the maintenance and overall health of our premier golf facility. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of course management, ensuring the course remains pristine, challenging, and inviting for players. Your leadership will inspire a team of skilled groundskeepers and maintenance staff to deliver exceptional turf quality, landscape aesthetics, and operational excellence. Responsibilities Lead and supervise the daily operations of golf course maintenance, including turf management, landscaping, irrigation systems, and tree care. Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance programs to ensure healthy turf, vibrant landscaping, and well-maintained facilities. Oversee landscape maintenance projects such as planting, pruning, fertilizing, aeration, and pest control to uphold aesthetic standards. Manage irrigation systems efficiently to optimize water use while maintaining optimal course conditions. Supervise a team of groundskeepers and maintenance personnel, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations. Coordinate construction projects related to course improvements or facility upgrades with contractors and internal teams. Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times during maintenance activities and uphold high standards of course quality. Qualifications Proven experience in supervising landscape maintenance, landscaping, lawn care, or golf course management roles. Strong knowledge of horticulture practices including tree care, gardening, turf management, and soil health. Hands-on experience with irrigation systems, construction projects, and general maintenance operations. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Familiarity with environmental regulations related to landscaping and land use practices. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in project planning and execution. Ability to communicate clearly with team members, contractors, and stakeholders about project goals and safety procedures. $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
