Landscape Production Manager Location:
Phoenix, MD Employment Type:
Full-Time Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Landscape Production Manager to lead high-end landscape construction projects from planning through completion. This role is responsible for overseeing field operations, managing production teams, ensuring quality workmanship, and delivering exceptional outdoor living environments. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with extensive landscape construction experience, a commitment to safety and quality, and the ability to motivate and develop high-performing crews. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily landscape construction operations, including premium outdoor living spaces, hardscapes, and custom pool installations. Lead, mentor, and develop landscape crews to ensure productivity, safety, and quality workmanship. Plan and manage project schedules to ensure work is completed on time and within budget. Conduct routine job site inspections to monitor progress, quality standards, and compliance with safety regulations. Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors to maximize operational efficiency. Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and construction materials. Identify and resolve job site issues while maintaining project timelines. Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure project expectations are met and customer satisfaction remains high. Promote a positive team culture focused on accountability, continuous improvement, and professional development. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience as a Landscape Crew Leader, Foreman, or similar leadership role in landscape construction. Previous experience managing landscape production operations is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of landscape construction techniques, including: Hardscaping Masonry Grading Plant installation Outdoor living environments Experience operating heavy equipment, including: Excavators Skid loaders Front-end loaders Valid driver's license required. Ability to drive a truck and trailer. Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card. CDL is a plus. Ability to read and write in English; conversational Spanish is highly preferred. Basic computer proficiency and the ability to perform field takeoffs and measurements. Physical Requirements Ability to routinely lift and carry 50+ pounds. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout 10-hour work shifts.
