Position:
Kevin's All Season Lawn & Landscaping is hiring an experienced Landscaping & Hardscape Installer to join our growing construction and maintenance teams. We specialize in high-quality outdoor living spaces, including brick paver patios, concrete work, landscape design installation, and commercial grounds maintenance. If you have experience operating heavy equipment, laying hardscapes, or leading a landscape crew, we want to hear from you. This is a full-time position with winter snow removal hours available.
Core Responsibilities:
Hardscape Installation:
Build and repair brick paver patios, retaining walls, fire pits, and walkways.
Concrete Work:
Assist in framing, pouring, and finishing concrete for residential and commercial flatwork.
Softscape & Landscape Installation:
Plant trees, shrubs, and flowers. Install mulch, sod, and decorative stone.
Site Preparation:
Perform grading, soil leveling, and excavation using hand tools and heavy machinery (skid steers, mini-excavators).
Irrigation Services:
Assist with the installation, repair, and winterization of sprinkler systems.
Equipment Operation:
Safely drive company trucks and operate landscape machinery (zero-turn mowers, trenchers, chainsaws, power tools).
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Driver's License (Required): Must have a valid Michigan Driver's License with a clean driving record. Chauffeur's License (Required): Must possess a valid Michigan Chauffeur's License (or obtain one prior to employment) to legally drive truck and trailer combinations.
Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years of professional landscaping, hardscaping, concrete, or outdoor construction experience.
Trailer Experience:
Ability to safely drive, back up, and park an F-250 (or similar) pulling a loaded landscape trailer.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 50+ lbs consistently and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Work Ethic:
Punctual, reliable, and capable of working effectively in a team environment.
