The ideal candidate is a leader who knows the field, can operate heavy landscaping equipment, and keeps projects moving efficiently and professionally.
Requirements:
5+ years of landscaping experience (installations, maintenance, etc.) Valid Michigan Chauffeur's License (required for operating company trucks) Must be able to operate skid steers, trenchers, compactors, and other landscape equipment Leadership experience managing 2-5 person crews Ability to read and follow job site plans Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and work in all weather Organized and able to track materials, timelines, and tools Excellent communicator — bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Reliable, self-motivated, and safety-minded
Duties:
Drive crew and equipment to and from job sites Lead installations: sod, mulch, edging, grading, planting, fencing, etc. Operate and maintain skid steers, mini excavators, trenchers, and more Manage job site flow, ensure team productivity, and deliver quality results Report progress to Operations Manager and document with photos/notes Train new team members and oversee crew safety Ensure jobs are completed on schedule and according to scope
Compensation & Perks:
