Superior Lawn & Landscape | Fenton, Michigan Superior Lawn & Landscape is looking for an experienced Mowing Foreman / Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader to lead one of our professional mowing crews. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who knows commercial and residential lawn maintenance, can keep a crew productive and takes pride in leaving every property looking great. You'll be responsible for your crew, equipment, route and the quality of the work completed each day. What You'll Do Lead and work alongside a mowing and landscape maintenance crew Manage the daily route and keep the crew moving efficiently Perform professional mowing, trimming, edging and blowing Ensure properties are completed to Superior's quality standards Assign work and provide direction to crew members Safely operate commercial mowing and landscape equipment Perform daily equipment checks and report maintenance or repair needs Communicate with management regarding property issues, scheduling or customer concerns Maintain a professional appearance and attitude while working at customer properties Make sure trucks, trailers and equipment are kept organized and cared for Follow and reinforce company safety procedures What We're Looking For Previous professional mowing or landscape maintenance experience required Previous crew leader, foreman or supervisory experience strongly preferred Experience operating commercial zero-turn mowers and landscape equipment Ability to lead a crew while also working alongside them Strong understanding of mowing quality, trimming, edging and property cleanup Dependable, organized and able to manage a daily route Good communication and problem-solving skills Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Ability to safely drive a truck and landscape trailer preferred Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions The Person Who Will Do Well Here You're the person who notices the missed strip of grass before anyone else does. You don't drive away from a property until you know your crew has done it right. Compensation:
Competitive and based on experience
Schedule:
Full-time position with hours based on workload and weather If you have professional mowing experience and you're ready to take ownership of a crew and route, we'd like to talk with you.
Pay:
$22.00 - $28.00 per hour
